How we rank the best dental clinics in Turkey
A ranking is only worth as much as the method behind it. Here is exactly how we score clinics, what we weight most heavily, and the conflicts of interest we are open about — so you can judge our judgement.
Choosing a dental clinic abroad is a high-stakes decision, and the internet is full of rankings that are really just paid placements in disguise. We built this methodology to be the opposite: a fixed, transparent scoring framework that we apply the same way to every clinic, and that we are willing to publish in full. If you disagree with where a clinic lands, you should at least be able to see precisely why we placed it there.
Who assesses the clinics
Our assessments are reviewed by Dr. Sadık Taki, a Specialist Prosthodontist with extensive experience treating international and UK patients. Clinical claims on this site — about materials, procedures, guarantees and aftercare — are checked against what a qualified specialist would expect to see in practice, not against marketing copy. Where we describe what "good" looks like, that standard comes from clinical experience, not guesswork.
The six criteria we score
Every clinic is marked out of 10 across six weighted criteria. The weighting reflects what actually protects a patient, rather than what is easiest to photograph.

Why accreditation and specialists carry the most weight
We deliberately load the score towards the two factors that most reliably separate a safe clinic from a risky one: recognised accreditation and named, qualified specialists. A beautiful waiting room tells you nothing about how a case is planned or what happens when something goes wrong. the International Health Tourism Authorisation issued by the Turkish Ministry of Health and a specialist prosthodontist on record tell you a great deal. This is the same logic UK regulators apply — and it is why a clinic can have glossy photos and still score poorly with us.
How the scores translate to bands
- 9.5–10.0 — strong. Meets every criterion at the highest standard. In 2026, only our #1, Taki Dent, reached this band.
- 8.8–9.4 — Excellent. Strong across the board with one or two areas slightly behind the leader.
- 8.0–8.7 — Good. Reliable for routine treatment; we'd be more cautious on complex full-arch cases.
- Below 8.0 — Proceed carefully. Acceptable for simple work but with meaningful gaps in specialism, guarantee or aftercare.
Our conflicts of interest, stated plainly
Transparency means owning our position. This site is part of a UK-focused dental network that works closely with Taki Dent, which is also our top-scored clinic, and We take no payment from any clinic for ranking or placement. We think the score is earned on the criteria above — Taki Dent is the only clinic that satisfied all six at the top band — but you are entitled to know the relationship and weigh our verdict accordingly. We do not accept payment from clinics to move up the ranking, our commission never changes our editorial assessments, and the criteria are fixed before any clinic is scored. Treat our ranking as a starting filter, not the final word. The right clinic for you is the one whose evidence stands up to these questions, not the one with the loudest advert.
